When I was studying Architecture in Uni we had the Head come in and tell us that women got better marks, were 55% of our class and had a higher graduation rate than men, then this old white professor went on to congratulate himself for proving that women were better than men and that he was glad that he wouldn't be the future of Architecture.
He also got a group of 3 female architects to come lecture us about the institutional disadvantages women have in Architecture (lower pay, less CEOs etc.), when one of the chicks in the class said it could be contributed to women wanting families she got the reply "Well why should women have to choose between career and family, men don't so we should be compensated equally even if we want to raise children too"
