both are true. reddit is a fairly large site and parts of it are full of sjw cucks and parts of it are similar to /pol/

Reddit's original content is cucked SJW shit but they upvote whatever they find funny, and really offensive right-wing stuff is way more funny. 4chan is popular there as a source of humor because their native "brand" of comedy just isn't funny.

Reddit's good for link aggregating but its shit beyond that and shilling your own products. The upvote/downvote system encourages a single philosophy and most subreddits act as safe spaces free from disagreement( eg: sandersforpresident is a safe space, so is the_donald and any other non general subreddit)
On reddit, you are judged by your post history and what safe spaces you post in. If you post in a pro trump subreddit you be labled a bigot and racist by uninformed retards across the site regardless of whether or not your post has anything to do with Trump
