What happen to the BRICS nations? Everyone said they would become the new superpowers and blow USA away etc. Seems like the USA is still number one.
>He fell for the BRICS meme
Seriously mate. A bunch of oligargies, Socialists, and klepocratics werent going to surpass America.
Jeez I wonder why oil is falling nowadays. So coincidential that the west came out on top again :^)
People said that about Japan too back in the days.

Brazil's underlying corruption problems were never addressed and the country still suffers from infrastructure problems along with a totally fucked party/welfare favors system.
Russia is fucked due to the deflation in oil prices.
China is following the same path every other asian tiger did, except that they're still run by commies so nothing works right. They have the worst aspects of both capitalism and socialism. The country has a major pollution problem in the cities causing capital flight while drought fucks over their ability to feed themselves. Then there's their economy going pop which they don't know how to handle.
South Africa is the least fucked, mostly because their "fall" right now is nothing compared to the shifest that was the 1990s for them. Their major problem is Drought, but fortunately agriculture is only 10% of their economy and they can afford to import food. The rest of subsaharan africa will suffer instead.
B - low IQ
R - lots of problems
I - poo in loo low avg IQ (upper class is of okay IQ, but lots of low IQ shit genetics in lower classes)
C - High IQ, succeeding
S - Niggers
BRICS couldn't have been a good alliance anyway. The only ones that make sense is Russia + China and they don't trust each other all that much.

Low oil prices is fantastic for China, India and SA.

Brazil, Russia, India, China and... Sudan? So? I don't get how they're included or how they'd do anything superpower-ey

Forgot India: lack of infrastructure (10x than brazil) also a fucked ethnicity/affirmative action styled system that prohibits growth due to quotas.
They all have individual problems, and it's likely the US and its pals have been working behind the scenes to stall their growths. TPP, TISA, and TTIP will be the final blow to the BRIC nations.

That is just speculation on your end.
