The UN continuously says the US is one of the easiest countries in the world to immigrate into legally.
The US gives out 1 million criteria based visas each year (family, employment, student etc) and more than 250,000 other visas either for diversity reasons or in a random 'green card lottery' of screened applicants who fit none of the criteria.
1,250,000 per year legal immigrants is what our country can accommodate easily.
HOWEVER, there are now 12 million illegal immigrants in the US. Or more. We don't know for sure, but its well over 11 million. It could be as high as 15 million or even more than that.
Thats 11 million people who our government doesn't know who they are, or where they are, or what their political ties are, doesn't know if they are terrorists or subverters or criminals. And we do know that many of them ARE criminals, and a good bit of them are probably terrorists. And all of them are breaking the law the minute they come into the US against the laws, and they break the law every day they stay in the US illegally.
11 million citizens of OTHER countries using US citizen's resources, holding US citizen's jobs, and in some cases...voting for what happens to US citizens.
