Because you're essentially holding up the value of GDP in a vacuum and not taking into account that it's not the only thing important to a nation.
For example, I don't equate a strong economy with the happiness of it's people, free movement may in some cases help a nation advance economically, is it really worth the possible social strife and possible damage to local jobs among the natives if they're essentially being displaced in the job market by foreigners?

To be fair, HDI is the only thing worth taking into account, unless you are the government or an international business / monetary interest with nothing invested in the country other than material assets. For instance, our GDP blows Switzerland's out of the water but Switzerland is objectively a better country with a higher quality of life.

But it's not that simple. Even the most blue-pilled economists admit that good institutions are necessary to foster economic growth - the rule of law, little to no corruption, etc.
If you import the third world you get the third world's problems. As much as they would like to believe the contrary, Somalians are not Europeans. They're not as smart, they're not as law-abiding, they're not as likely to contribute to the macroeconomy. They will boost demand and will marginally increase supply. But they will also cause internal turmoil. Whites aren't going to let immigrants rape their women and murder their children indefinitely. When a conflict or civil war comes all the economists and career politicians will scratch their heads and wonder how they got it so wrong.
