Once the Oil runs out its this right?

Suddenly the country is at war with itself and is abandon and forgotten by the world.

Once the climate change really gets going its this right?

Suddenly the world is split into 2 coalitions that duke it out over inhabitable lands and the rest just freeze to death.

The USD will crash before oil runs out. The consumption of oil will also crash which will lead to oil lasting much longer than anyone ever expected.

You and I, will never see the day oil runs dry.

Perhaps our great great grandkids will but they will be slaves anyways so it doesn't really matter.

Please leave me alone, I wanted the guns from the campaign, it wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible.

Now I just sit here and play CSGO, which is becoming very depressing.

4 is kinda close to 2 in terms of feel. The maps are boring as fuck and the whole safe spaces that they introduced after 2142 are absolute dicks.

90% of the satisfaction from BF games was raping the other team at their spawn or nilling them with free kills because they were too slow and not aggressive enough.

Gasoline can be replaced with burning coal fumes.
Diesel engines can be run on used cooking oil, + some chemical that makes the oil thinner, i dont know which one but there is one.
1,5 years would be fucked up because of the lack of gasoline but that is just enough time to plant, cultivate and turn vegetables into cooking oil and thin it out and have diesel.
Plastic would be recycled.
The world could manage itself out. I cant say about ameriblubbers, because at least half of them would be dead, which also brings a better world on its own.
The chinese would dominate the world after
>>
oil shale and hydro fracking has basically made it so economically feasible oil isn't going to run out for a long time

Oil resources deply only in liberals imagination.

They can't factor time nor economics.

How triggered would an average amerifat be if someone put a diesel engine in some 60s muscle car

don't think so. there will be enough time to prepare. future wars will be about resources like fresh water, food, etc. Just like in the old days

>>70410042
America has 86% of the world's shale oil reserves
We could double our annual intake and what we have would still last over a thousand years to use up(and thats just shale)
>>
>>70410042
3rd one was the best one, some cuck literally wanted to stage another 9/11 just for the sole reason of America invading another country
>>
>>70415167
MW2 already did that
>>
>Oil runs out
>Suddenly

Doesn't work that way, oil just steadily becomes more expensive as previously unprofitable reserves become profitable at the new price. The recent drop in oil prices was a calculated exercise to kill fracking and oil shale and sands. It just overshot a bit.

Ever thought about how the arab villain in Cod4 was called Assad?
The game was released in 2007, but the story took plane in 2011.
Coincidence?

Oil won't run out for the next 100-200 years.
Coal for the next 500 years.
And you can get hydrocarbons from space from Asteroids and bodies like Titan(whole moon made out of methane basically)
>>
>>70415896
How is bringing HC fuel back from Titan a better idea than just using the fuel you used to go get it?
>>
>>70410042
we will use the sun for energy dont worry
the fearmongering that the oil will run out is so that OPEC-jew can sell it for more money
>>
>>70416080
Never seen that flag before.

Anyhow. They really need to setup it up so that every house has solar then you can phase out generators and have a decentralised grid.

essentially then you've just gotta maintain lines and if people want power they will need to keep their own solar systems working while having the slack picked up by others if their system is under powered, old or other wise just unable to generate the full amount.

Power company's should be phased out into a single government thing that is covered by taxes.
>>
>>70410042
once the oil runs out we'll meet our energy needs via fusion/fission reactors. No more cheap plastics though :(
>>
>>70410042
bla bla bla nuclear fusion is imminent when TPTB see that it's an opportune moment to dump oil companies and take different energy sources
>>
>>70416197
there's enough money right now so that we all switch to solar energy, but until they can profit from the oil they wont speed up the process
hasnt there been invented a car running on electricity and solar energy, like 10 years ago?
also we would be able to still get some fuel from recycling waste
>>
>>70416386
Around 1905 - 20's there was alot of electric cars but they were phased out because oil but lately 1980's they've made a come back.

Plenty exist most tend to get shutdown by large companys but yes, there are a few like the tesla and a few others.

Tesla is pretty good because its a sports car and most people only understand speed.
>>
>>70410042
High temperature nuclear reactors would be able to drive mass production of chemicals currently derived from hydrocarbons as well as replacements for current liquid fuels. The most efficient means would be hydrogen from thermal separation of water + CO2 from industrial source/byproduct (or from atmosphere, but this is less efficient) = methanol, which could be converted into a direct gasoline replacement with additional hydrogen.

Though before all that, nuclear energy could be used to provide the heat for oil refineries, resulting in massive increases in fuel production efficiency (as none of the crude must be burned to heat the rest of it/no coal or electricity from the grid must be used).

>How is bringing HC fuel back from Titan a better idea than just using the fuel you used to go get it?
Because it is awesome.
Also not many people remember that Nostromo in Alien was actually transporting petrochemicals to Earth
