I know when I first started I was gagging because of the salt and I know it irritated my gum, but that went away relatively quickly and I think it's def worth it, and certainly the healthiest way I know of to get nicotine.
As an aside, they now sell General snus in select 7-11s in America. It's very expensive to buy in the United States if you order from Sweden or even a Swedish importer.
