No. The Greeks of Anatolia attacked Persia and Cyrus conquered Anatolia, including the Ionian Greeks. They replaced their democracies with Persian Satraps, which were extremely unpopular. The Ionian Greeks petitioned the Athenians and Eritrean Greeks for assistance in their revolt against Persia. Darius squashed the revolt and said he'd get revenge against the Athenians and Eretrians.
