Seriously, the only reason you think it's a bad thing is because some people wants you to feel guilty about it but, in reality, it's something we should learn sooner than later.
Some blacks are better than others but overall they behave differently than whites.
Same happens with latinos. Mexicans are much different than argentinians, cubans are different than dominicans and so on and so forth.
Separatism is a good thing. It's acknowledging how different we all are and letting people decide with who do they want to interact and when. Taking that decission away from them ensures trouble.
