They're not that uncucked. You can still go to jail in Poland for speaking out against refugees.
Plus they're not as prosperous as the rest of Europe so shitskins don't want to go there. They'd rather go to the west with its stable welfare states and good living conditions.

I think the key is that Polish nationalism is basically politically correct. They're the only kind of European nationalists who almost entirely hate Hitler and the Nazis. Whereas most European nationalists regret Germany's defeat because the Allies destroyed nationalism afterward, Polish nationalists are revisionists who like to imagine Hitler was a multiculturalist and/or Zionist. No truth to it, but it does mean their nationalism isn't taboo unlike most European countries.

They used to be a pretty based empire that eventually started to stagnate and decline before being partitioned by its neighbors (Russia, Prussia, and Austria) in the 18th century.
The Poles staged several uprisings and revolutions throughout the 18th and 19th centuries that ultimately failed but did manage to:
1.) forge a strong sense of identity and nationalism
2.) gain the sympathy and respect of much of the outside world.
The country managed to gain independence after the First World War (although they narrowly avoided being reconquered by the fledging Soviet Union) as a fairly diverse and multicultural society (in a non-cuck, non-meme way) between the World Wars.
Everybody knows that the Second World War began in Europe with the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany; what is less commonly remembered is the simultaneous invasion of eastern Poland by the Soviet Union.
Poland was able to experience the twin joys Stalinist Russia's purges and gulags and Hitler's Germany's death camps and death squads, in addition to a significant amount of fighting, ultimately losing about a fifth of the pre-war population in six years.
The vast majority of Poland's Jewish population perished in the war, while many of Poland's more multiethnic regions were reassigned to new countries or had their populations expelled (ethnic Poles were expelled from the Kresy, and often migrated to former German West Prussia and Silesia). The resulting state was demographically devastated, economically obliterated, and politically dominated, but it was ethnically and religiously homogenous for probably the first time in it's history. The West essentially betrayed Poland to Soviet domination after the war, not that there was a realistic alternative.
The resulting half a century of Communist repression, their traditional Catholicism, and inherent nationalism inoculated from the post-modern cockishness that infects many Western nations.

Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union made a non-aggression pact (previously they were existential and ideological enemies) to essentially divide the independent nations of Eastern Europe between the two. The Soviet Union absorbed the Baltic States, attacked Finland for the region of Karelia, invaded the eastern half of Poland, and claimed the Romanian region of Bessarabia (now Moldova) within a year of the beginning of the Second World War.
The lack of knowledge/awareness of the Soviet Union in the West ought to be a scandal in and of itself.
Look up 'dekulakization', and the 'Red Terror' on Wikipedia for example, and ask yourself if you were ever taught anything like that in school (I sure as hell didn't beyond 'Animal Farm').
