Cubans came here to embrace America and capitalism, and didn't have a chip on their shoulder. They didn't think America belonged to them and they were reconquering it. They just wanted freedom.
Mexicans on the other hand come here to exploit us. They view America as an enemy sitting on occupied Mexican land that they are going to reconquer. This just ends up hurting them, because they don't embrace what America has to offer.
