But the actual delivery system? I have no complaints, the mail arrives on time. When I don't have to deal with a person in the office I'm content.
I started working for the post office after quitting 4 years at a jew bank. so much happier now. so much easier and stress free, get to walk and exercise every day, and best of all no manager breathing down your neck telling your whole team we're gonna get laid off if we don't do better and better. I can also browse 4chin and listen to audio books while on the job.

as of this year they've been shit. They advertise my delivery date for 7th but I don't receive it until 9th. Minimum 2 day delay now.
The truck drivers got so lazy they don't even leave the 'sorry we missed you' notice anymore. They just basically tell you to fuck yourself and pick it up from the P.O. yourself

The only time I've had subpar service was from a white woman with a haircut that could pass for dyke. She was mildly snarky at me.
Ever other single postal worker I've met has been happy and helpful or bro-tier or something like that. The local rural carrier was an especially cool guy when I'd see him on the street, although it was mildly creepy when we got on a first name basis and then he told me where I lived and when my birthday was. It makes sense, really, if your job is to deliver mail to the same people every day, but I just never really thought about that.

Fastest and cheapest service for me. Packages show up in good shape and on time or early.

You'd be running with huge losses if your board members(the U.S. Congress) made you fund pension liabilities for future workers who haven't even been born(75 years), and restrain your ability to adjust pricing so you are less competitive.
I guess the actual delivery is OK, but the offices are fucking horrible. I have to wait in line for an hour pretty much every time I need to pick up a package.
