1.) if snowden's leaks are anti-establishment, how come he's been getting full establishment-media coverage in the last year, while russ tice (who leaked pretty much the same stuff years before) was widely ignored and shut down?
2.) if his leaks embarrass and hurt the US, how come no one has been fired from his position? has obama been empeached (nixon got impeached for watergate, where he spied on a few journalists, obama spies on 7 billion)? no?
3.) if his leaks hurt the US so much, how come not a single country has interpreted the spying as an act of aggression and challenged its' alliance status? the only thing that happened was that brazil allegedly turned down a contract for a few fighter jets...
4.) look, however, at the consequences snowdens leaks have had on average joe: people are starting to self-censor. the snowden story has pretty much created a (first-)world-wide panopticum, where everyone feels watched and powerless all the time.
I think 4.) is simply the goal: they leaked this shit to make it clear to everyone before SHTF soon (dollar collapse), that uprising and looting can not be done anonymously in todays NWO totalitarian tyranny.

I think the country is evenly split on whether Snowden did a good thing or not; the problem is the media gives voice to hardcore national security types. Our media likes to run with stories about terrorism and crime, and when some government stooge says that Snowden is a danger to America, the media and therefore the people just go along with it mostly.
