Zykoln B was used on clothing. There was never enough, and it could never be enough. Even after the Allies took over the camps they quarantined them.
The camps were never meant to be permanent accomodations for masses of people. The original Haavara plan, like the Balfour declaration made with the British, was to relocate the population of Jews to Palestine. The Allies blocked that operation at a point in the war, and began refusing Jewish refugees. It wasn't accidental. They were used to sap resources from the Germans.

legitimate question /pol/ if the holocaust was exaggerated, wouldn't it have still been wrong to abduct jews and put them in these concentration camps as a basic violation of human rights? Also how come I never heard of this whole conspiracy to bring down german nationalism?

Depends. It would have been in accordance with international laws of detention of enemy agents. Every world power did the same. More died in detention in the US, for example. German POWs were made to sleep outside, many died of attrition that way. War crimes are determined by the victor.
Philosophically speaking, if you want to take an extreme civil liberties position, it was wrong and immoral to detain anyone; Hitler did detain them to export them. He had more than enough means to simply exterminate them, which would have been cheaper; only his enemies would have protested. Germans, by all accounts, were stricter about adhering to laws and regulations about conduct in war. There were a few provable examples of civilian populations being liquidated, but only after German was surrounded and some of the Nazi staff became worried. It seems that Himmler was responsible for these, and wrote in his diary that he was having a nervous breakdown over the secrets he was keeping from Hitler. It was ot Hitler's orders or apparent intent to be killing civilians, much as he intentionally avoided killing British civilians with the same excess as Chruchill killed Germans. Hitler wanted a negotiated solution with England, because he saw them as the closest cousins to Germans in Europe. In that respect, Hitler was bound by a code and a self-image as being "knight", the rest of his staff was not always this way.

There are no respectable sources for holocaust historiography that diverges with the "correct" set of conslusions. You'll have to abandon inquiry into this matter if you seek respectability. If, however, you've decided to seek verifiability over respectability, then David Irving has assembled the best collection of original sources and translations from the British national archives, including Enigma intercepts and diary translations.

Irving has been wrong, but he admits when he is shown to be wrong, so I consider him to have integrity as a historian. He was highly reputable before he started producing work that angered the holocaust industry, just as Norman Finkelstein was respectable before he angered the same lobby.

And the answers you find will never be "respectable" in your lifetime; you face religious zeal and treatment as a heretic if you share what you know in polite company.
