Does /pol/ listen to classical music?
Daily reminder that classical is the only based and non-degenerate type of music.
Let's get started with some Liszt:

Classical music was often associated with nationalism.
Here's some Dvorak. The conductor was a Nazi, if you're into that sort of thing.

A lot of classical music uses the same I IV V format as other music, but the instrumentation and writing seems less predictable.(or as you say non degenerated.)

because tradition was to stay within the confines of music etiquette
you can see how the structure you talk about there gets thrown out with Beethoven, chopin, liszt, rach etc
however, to say it follows I IV V is very cheap, as it's not just chords but scales and variations of those scales
also, Bach was able to make the most vivid and colourful music ever by manipulating the rigidity of baroque musical tradition, his musical universe is the deepest and most varied ever and he was very big on theory, so to say the use of I IV V in classical is comparable to the use of it today is incredibly misleading
