Last I checked a single Dragon flight clocks in at 130 million and a Falcon 9 is 60 million and more. Not to forget "extras" that have to be paid for extra.
Also, a Shuttle Launch had a net payload capacity of 22 tons, this Dragon launch will take some 3mt to the ISS.

We need COMPLETELY different things for actual space exploration, most notably new propulsion technology, different launch vehicles, different energy systems, landing techniques on different planetary objects, robotics advancements etc. A LEO space station boondoggle which was that expensive because it has lots of bureaucracy and shit in it, doesn't help at all. The Russians have said, it is so ridiculous, the ISS is redoing shit research they did on Salyut 3 and Salyut 4... and astronauts aren't just redoing those things once, they are redoing it 5 or more times.
