Porch flags are pretty common. Flag poles can be a problem in residential areas because often the cable will slam into the pole over and over and over again if it is windy at all. No one wants to hear that while they're trying to enjoy their day. It's probably preventable but lots of people are too lazy to properly maintain anything they own. Porch flags are a good in between.

It was cold as fuck during the winter, but that's me coming from California. The places seemed generally all open, and the people very friendly and welcoming. Though, my experience was only a two week stay, with one week being me laying down because of food poisoning and being a retard and drinking distilled water. I had honestly though I had purchased purified, but nope.
