I was scheduled to take my flight for my Private Pilot license that morning.
I was so invested in the flight planning for the exam I didn't turn on the TV, and didn't even know about the attack until I arrived at the airport and found out all planes in the country were grounded.
I still remember it was an absolutely perfect day to fly. I often wonder if that's the reason the terrorists chose that day to maximize their chances of success.
