I ran into a few American couples in Ireland while I was there.
Almost all were rich New Englanders or Southerners who were pretentious and arrogant as fuck. Even to me. & yes I did encounter a loud family once in a bar, the dad was really the only one being loud. But he was listening to the guys play music there in the bar, and was constantly complimenting them and calling the bartender over to buy them drinks.
Also ran into another that were extremely pretentious. The wife at least. She acted like anyone not from America didn't have a clue about what anything is. She tried to explain to the bartender at this place in Killarney what a yacht was. Him and I were chatting for a bit before they came so he gave me this weird look like, "is this bitch being for real?"
Killarney was cool though. I know they're all used to the tourists there but I didn't expect to be invited out on the town, shit was fun.
