>Seven in 10 people, including close to half of Republican voters, have an unfavorable view of Trump, according to a new Associated Press-GfK poll. It’s an opinion shared by majorities of men and women; young and old; conservatives, moderates and liberals; and whites, Hispanics and blacks — a devastatingly broad indictment of the billionaire businessman.

The highest support anyone claims trump has is around 50% of republican voters. That means half of the republicans don't support him and, since he is a republican, none of the democrats do and there are more democrats than republicans. 7/10 people against trump seems about right.

welcome to every American election between the douche and the giant turd. Nobody likes political candidates in general because there's almost always something that reeks about them.

Shillary doesn't have it any better, and she might even have it worse. She might seriously get recommended for indictment for the FBI. The Justice Department will clear her, but a pall will hang over her candidacy forever if it happens. She'll be as good as politically dead. The Panama Papers expose is hurting her too. The people who are voting for her are either establishment puppets, literally ignorant or willfully stupid (older women voting for her out of identity politics). Few people like her and even among her supporters, only 30% are enthusiastic about a Clinton presidency according to polls.

A lot of people dislike Trump and I imagine a lot of people dislike Sanders and Cruz too, but at least among their supporters there is much more enthusiasm. I can't even say the same for Shillary except among very specific, small (virtually negligible) and narrow demographics.

Yes, technically. But 49% vs 47% isn't all that much of a lead and you have to ignore the people who are undecided about her.

>Democrat turnout is extraordinarily low.

In primaries, as Nate Silver already pointed out, primary turnout =/= general election. Only 30% of Republicans support Trump. Trumptards are in the minority in the GOP, and he will not be the nominee. EAT SHIT TRUMPTARDS
>>
>>70338176
You remind me of my dad who says that Obama doesn't mean the things he says he is just afraid of being criticized by other people.
>>
And just for the record, negativity mostly drives people to stay at home and be buttblasted on election day rather than fervently vote against the candidates they dislike. Enthusiasm is what drives people to the polls in mass numbers. That's what Obama had in 2008. It's not what Hillary has in 2016. It is, however, what Trump and Republicans in general have in 2016.

A lot of Republicans said they would not vote for Trump if he's the nominee (protip: he won't). 20 percent said they would vote Libertarian Party, 10% said they would vote for Hilary, and another 10% won't vote.

Trump isn't the same as the rest of the GOP candidates. He's not a Republican anon and said several times he will run third party.

>Polling data has, for quite some time, indicated that Trump would beat all others (including Lubio) in a two way primary.

His polling numbers are collapsing nationwide since last week. He's campaign is collapsing, and he will not win enough delegates to get the nominee.

It won't. Unless the media makes a constant shitstorm over it, the indictment will fade into the memories of most voters. Meanwhile the media will be blasting the airwaves with
"Trump did some something irrelevant and now we're going to spin it into a week long expo on his secret racism" and secure shillary the election.

>>
>>70338769
Not even close baby.
>>
>>70338091
I've actually heard that Obama is likely to just blanket pardon her once the FBI recommends indictment, and then have Biden step in to run.
>>
>>70338501
I'm not missing anything. That may motivate some people to vote him down but it won't energize most of the base. There have been plenty of Republican candidates who liberals have hated throughout the years. In many cases they were so disillusioned with their own horse in the race that they still decided not to vote. According to polling, 33% of Sanders' supporters already decided they won't vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination with another segment of them being undecided. A lot of them will stay around and fap on election day and some might protest vote for a third party (negligible numbers probably, though).

Campaigns of negativity don't drive people, dude. They just result in elections with dismally low voter turnout. Clinton's message is not resonating with some very important demographics that she cannot afford to lose. She's missing out on a lot of the bread and butter of the Democratic base. Trump's message is really resonating with his key supporters, and I think he can win over the rest of the Republicans (maybe minus evangelicals) and moderate independents.

and your logic doesn't work anyways, because Shillary is detested among Republicans. She ought to be just as galvanizing on their side.

What Trump really needs is a better organizational apparatus. His ground game has sucked in a lot of primary states. He needs to work on that and getting his voters to actually haul their asses to the polls. Honestly, Hillary's campaign has not done such an outstanding job of getting her supporters out to vote either. Even though she's winning the primaries, most of the innovation for driving support on the Democratic side has come from the Sanders camp. They've created apps and done all sorts of shit to get the vote out. If it wasn't for Clinton's name recognition and the support of the mainstream media, she might be losing right now.

Then post the data that says liberals won't go to the polls to vote against Trump. Show me that I'm wrong. Until then you are making an assertion and mine is as valid as yours.
>>
>>70338903
No way dude. There was a firestorm over her emails. There will be hell over a recommendation of indictment. She will be finished. There are many things she can cover up, but if the FBI seriously believes that wrongdoing took place and recommends it, her campaign will tailspin. This is one thing the media will not ignore. They've played patty cake on a lot of other things with her, but there's too much drama from the headlines about how the Justice Department will handle her indictment, etc. When the average voter finds out about it, many will be appalled, particularly independents (not so much Democrats). That's really bad for Hillary because she's already losing the independent vote as it is.
>>
>>70339354

I'm not the one making the claim, nigger. That's you.
>>
>>70339510
There will be a recommendation of indictment for sure from the FBI, at the very least there is criminal negligence with Top Secret information.
>>
>>70339632
I think so too. The timing is important though. If it's recommended after she's secured the nomination then the whole Democratic party is done. Trump will coast to the White House. If they do it quickly then the Dems have time to sort it out and maybe use a brokered convention to install their new favorite pick (maybe Biden will rethink taking up the mantle).
