so if you hold your phone vertical, like OP did, which is portrait mode, and is how the pic was taken because it is taller than it is wide, you are saying that the phone later on changes its mind and decides that the picture will now be considered landscape?
my theory is that it has to be some fucktarded 4chan shit, and the dev who coded this site for free fucked up.
it's like that old claim where moot said that pics got swapped because of a PHP bug. bull fucking shit. if PHP sucked that much it wouldn't be used on half the web sites in the world. that old crap about the posts having the same timestamp is bogus too. a pic is linked to an IP and a thread, and has no need to look at timestamps to determine who sent it.

I think it's the loss of the rotational information, as in 4chan doesn't know what to do about the rotation info the phone gives to the picture, since on my phone it's vertical like it should be
