Although influential Jews have always existed in the US, especially in banking, the complete takeover really began in the late 19th and early 20th century, when millions of Jews came in from the Pale of Settlement in Russia (the Tsar put them there to stop them from fucking shit up) as well as Poland and some other areas in Eastern Europe. Most of these Jews were radical communists with revolutionary inclinations, a mixture of orthodox Jews, some Zionists and secular Jews.
It was really after World War 2 that their power exploded exponentially, although the foundation for that was laid in the early 20th century, for example with all major Hollywood studios being founded by Eastern European Jewish immigrants.

It was a piece of cake to get control of the US since it's a country without a strong nation identity and history. Europeans should never have left Europe for the U.S. It was always going to be a plaything for the jews.
undoing the jewish quotas in the ivies i'd say was the first step, they were always over-represented but they didn't want the extent of having them as a majority-minority.
