My mother is sadly unstable, she destroyed my dad and one of my sister's lives (got them fired, ruined relationships and friendships, made all kinds of crazy threats) and is now a lonely shut in who hoards things and refuses medication. I visit her twice a week and help her with gardening, we fill 3 or 4 giant garbage bags of things she has collected and we recycle and bin them, I then spend a few hours listening to her talk about herself and the random memories of her youth.
I don't hate her, she needs help so I help her. My other two siblings don't want to acknowledge there is a problem and pretend like she doesn't exist, my dad's moved on with a younger woman and started another family.
If I don't look out for her she will have a much lower quality of life. Slowly I help her move on and deal with her problems, she will eventually become more independent and self-sufficient.
Growing up she always put a lot of pressure on everyone around her and was a domineering and controlling strong woman. I guess she finally snapped when my younger sister outed herself as a raging lesbian, but there were cracks in the facade even when I was very little. She hated handling the girls as babies, was always stressed and upset with dad, manic and incredibly outgoing all at once when he was more reserved and shy..
I can't imagine what level of psychological or physical abuse he suffered to justify talking about his mother like that. It's another human being, they make mistakes but you forgive and move on. My mother is a lazy and emotional mess of a person, but she has good qualities, a good sense of humor, outgoing friendly nature, very intelligent and creative. Myopic views of individuals always leads to internal conflict, because what we hate most in others is often an unconscious reflection of ourselves.

I think the thing is, while he has good intentions and I think his primary motivation is to spread his peaceful parenting message, he admits to using manipulative tactics to do so.
A while ago a caller called up and asked why he keeps making videos about the American election if he's an anarchist, and he said he simply looked at the views his videos got and saw the political ones get way more, so if he wants to reach a wide audience he needs to give them the topics they want.
He can come across as phony since he's putting on a more entertaining persona and arguing for things that don't really fit his virtues like race issues and US political drama.
Think he's going about it wrong though since his peaceful parenting shit is buried under years of other videos and the average normie who turns up for Trump is not going to go hunting for them if he doesn't bring it up consistently.
