if you have a highschool diploma and an apprenticeship its much easier to work there.
for example. a math phd will have a hard time finding a job that isnt in academia or finances.
but a toilet cleaner or burgerflipper will find a job very fast.
cause noone in germany wants to do those jobs.
mid tier jobs like electrician or mechanic are very location dependent.
also many people dont own homes like they used to. in germany people used to build their own homes, everyone from the lowest tier of jobs to the highest bank ceo built their own homes.
people dont do that anymore.
