I used to be christian, but it is fundamentally not any more monotheistic than hinduism with their "millions of gods is all aspects of the God Rahman", just because there are 3 gods in one does not make it more monotheistic.
Islam on the other hand is properly monotheistic and all the contradictory statements in the Bible is not contradictory anymore if you read it as a muslim.. For example Matthew 26:39 where Jesus says to God something like "Don't do what I want, but do what you want", makes perfectly sense if you view him as a prophet praying to God. But christians believe Jesus IS God and that Jesus basically is saying "don't do like I want, but do like I want" and at once going against god, sinning and do what god wants at the same time. It's contradictory and christians usually brush it away with "it is one of god's mysteries" every time a contradiction like this is brought up.
Islam has no logical contradictions, it is straight forward and the only properly monotheistic religion available to humanity. It is likely a religion that exists in all planets with intelligent life, christianity on the other hand can only exist on earth because only earth has Jesus. It makes no sense that God can control the whole universe alone by himself, but this little rock needs 2/3 extra God to function. Christianity makes no sense and is a leftover from a time without science.
