Yeah he was running the LAPD like a donkey show.
I recall how he had set up an observation post in a concealed cave near the top of a cliff, behind some bushes and shit. Once he left town he drive his car several miles past his infiltration point into the wilderness and then rode BACK on a bicycle (!) to a place where he could work his way into the woods more easily.
They figure he actually watched the cops driving up and down the mountain roads from his vantage point for a while before he moved along. He moved many miles through the wilderness with ease, this guy was one built dude.

The other thing I liked about that night was that it 100% proved that /pol/ is not racist at all.
We rallied behind this maligned man, pushed beyond the brink by a corrupt system which itself was racist toward an exemplary black man. Any accusations of him just being some nigger on a chimpout were met with scorn and shame was heaped upon those accusers.

He had encountered specific problems in the department related to nepotism and corruption, tried to fix it, got railroaded and sent on shit duty, other cops starting pinning accusations of corruption and dereliction of duty on him, and when he complained a guy who was fucking with him's daughter who also worked for the force was the one who investigated and found of course, that her daddy was not doing anything wrong.
It revealed the LAPD's level of corruption to be even higher than anybody thought.
Anyway he said "fuck it" and killed the bitch and a couple other people too, all of whom worked for or with the LAPD in some official capacity, then took off into the Southern California hill country.
The police were so keyed up that they shot the shit out of at least two incorrect vehicles which they thought could be him. He was long gone by that time though, it was only what, 2 days later that they cornered him in a shack but the body was so badly burned that I don't know if they really got his ass. It was fucking epic.
