It finally happened /pol/
During my 24 years of age, I've heard of murders, I've heard of people getting killed in some neighborhood, some city, some town, etc. but it was never "near".
But about half an hour ago, finally happened.
I was browsing /pol/, listening to music and about to go to bed, when out of nowhere I heard loud screams of a man. Since I live near the downtown, there are always drunktards yelling stuffs at late hours from time to time, so I didn't really pay attention.
But the screams didn't stop, and in my little level of attention, I began to listen "They're killing me, they're killing me! They are killing me!". In that moment it hit me, and I recognized the voice. It was the friendly security man of the neighborhood, he is already in his late 50's or early 60's.
I felt that I had to do something, I don't own a gun, and my only "weapon" is a machete that I use to cut the orange trees in my garden.
All I could do was call the police. They arrived about 15 minutes ago, already with an ambulance.
I really feel very anger right now, but at the same time I feel so impotent, so frustrated /pol/. Gangmembers were killing a man (I really hope he isn't dead, I really hope he will recover) literally a few houses away from my home, and all I could do was make a phone call, and wait for the police to arrive, like a fucking woman.
