Any of you /pol/ play legit nation building games?
Suggest business/finance/nation building games worthy of time and thought, pc or web based.
Is grand strategy acceptable? Look into Victoria II, Europa Universalis IV, or Crusader Kings II.
V2 sounds like it might be more up your alley, but it's also a harder game to get into.

I play Civ V, TW: Empire and Attila. I tried getting into Civ BE but I found it to be way to politically bland. They leaders and nations they created for the game seemed to be a lifeless and unnatural as possible just to prevent anyone others than whites from being offended by how stupid they were.

I play Hearts of Iron, CK2 and EU4. Can't play Civ 5 or Total War - too repetitive and simplistic. Can't wait for Stellaris. If I had to pick a perfect game it would have CK2's perspective and flavour events, EUIV's scale and Total War's battle system.

Good sir, have you tried the Community Balance Patch? I was in the same boat until I discovered that miracle patch. It's more like an overhaul of the entire game and it even improved the AI. By a lot.
Going to look into EU IV now, looks sweet.
I just started playing Beyond Space, its basically a reskin of civ 5 though :/

>Fall from Heaven II
GOD TIER TASTE. Balseraphs with Council of Esus is my favorite combo I've found so far. Gibbon Goetia with puppets is overpowered for the time you can get him by.
Other good strategy games: Alpha Centauri is a classic for a reason. Best Sid Meyer game still.
I sometimes wish I lived in the Kaiserreich world.

Mount & Blade series for nation building, with some politics and certainly warfare, Viking conquest expansion if you want to be a proud Irish/Norseman killing brits and fighting for Christianity against pagan degenerates.

>not playing anno domini and killing wave after wave of mudslimes

So who are you then?
Who do you stand for?
Civ 4 is WAY BETTER than 5, just saying

True facts. One unit per tile was a mistake.

Victoria 2 with Hpm (gsg mod) might be up your alley. Alternatively, europa universalis 3 with all expacs is p gud, but 4 might be better for newer players
Vic 2 deals with 1836 to 1935 while eu series deals with the fall of byzantium to napoleonic era

FEAR THE WRATH OF BANNOR
Germany is destined to be cucked no matter the universe.
If you don't have at least one GS or 4X game that you play somewhat often, then you're a fag.

Thats game development in the current century
Released unfinished game and let the players finish it for you
I stopped playing big dev games because of this
The other day I was playing SMAC, much better than the garbage theyve been churning out lately
Why can't Kaiserreich be true dammit?
