I had 2 Soldiers in my Platoon alone that were not US citizens. One was Mexican and one was from Haiti.
Both were on track to get it, but the Mexican went AWOL for a couple days and his packet got dropped. Haitian bro is US citizen now. Last time I talked to them they were both still serving.
