I've never done such (that'd be a punishment to me imo) but I've heard testimony's from others in relationships that they use sex-withdrawal as punishment. Which, inherently to me just seems stupid and like it'd backfire (i.e. cheating) When women get older their sex-drive rapidly declines in a lot of cases, though, so it might just be an excuse to not put out. You also have to consider that if a woman is working, and has kids to worry about as well, combined with a natural hormonal decline, that could make them exhausted and not want sex. It's important to have sex to maintain a healthy relationship though, and using sex-withdrawal as a "punishment" would ultimately make things worse.
