Christians view the covenant differently, to us it's strictly about revelation. Jews are required to observe kosher and circumcision as per the old laws.
That being said, Judaism has certain features (like forced reading) which after some esoteric revelations make a lot of sense. Basically you can't logically reincarnate Jews without forcing some aspects of their minds to become similar, Christians don't have this so the onus is stronger on the clergy pre-60s and parents post-60s. This is further confounded by incredible divorce rates in judeo Christian cultures.

Jewish scripture promises the coming one day of a messiah. Jesus claimed to be that messiah. There is a subset of Jews who believe he really was what he claimed to be, while maintaining their identity as descendants of the Tribes of Israel.

They're NOT Jews. They are considered to be a type of Christian, even if they deny it, no Jew accepts them as one of their own. Basically they're Christians that also celebrate some Jewish holidays (shabbat, passover, etc) and maybe incorporate some other aspects of the Jewish faith.

As someone already said, it's essentially just Christianity with Jewish cultural aspects. They also tend to get the most hatred from other Jews, atheist or observant.
