My only issue with it is the way in which the female is "bad-ass". With leia, she would shoot and she was tough, but not unrealistic. Nah, that's fine. There's a shitload of male characters who do the same exact thing and I enjoyed watching them on film.
The problem is when they make out the female characters literally good at everything else and even their supposed flaws just go to show how good they are by overcoming that obstacle/flaw in record time. You can also recognize them by the number of quips they spew out or the way they talk to other characters in the scene, be they male or female.

The girl practiced more than just a few laps around a dirt track through anon, she was the princess in her game and only stopped racing when King Candy started fucking with her shit, and as the main character of her game its logical she would be the most skilled. The writers were trying to drop hints that maybe the story King Candy told everybody wasn't true but you appearantly didn't understand the plot of the movie and thus decided it was shit writing.

I only watched it the one time and i was a star wars kid who played star wars video games, watched the trilogy once a month at least, had star wars board games, star wars books, a huge box filled with star wars toys, and at my elementary school we all collected star wars cards, everyone from grade 1-6, we grew up trading star wars cards and trading/discussing star wars at recess unless we were playing hockey. when episode 1 was announced me and my friend went to see it like 7 times. Was it disappointing? yeah, but apart from jar jar nothing was really too offensively stupid. It had some decent scenes, some genuinely funny moments.

Anyways good parts from 2 I remember, and it's also been a long time since I watched the films, probably around 2008 or something. But that speeder chase in the beginning fighting that shape shifter (Lucas could have done so much more with a shape shifter enemy though), Jango Fett was neat. Some of the clones marching on Kamino was visually interesting. And yeah of course the end, that fight against the 3 beasts, then the Jedi in the Arena and the huge clone battle. I was a kid as the time too and really liked it. Shame you can't enjoy it but whatever mate.
Basically, Ep 2 is fucking shit in the middle, but the beginning and ending are fun to watch.
