im not arguing that keynesianism is the same as the chicago school, just that the austrian school is more different from the keynesian school than chicago is. chicago and keynesian thought both operate based upon empirical observations, put large amounts of trust in mathematical and econometric models, and make certain assumptions like the non-neutrality of money that the austrians dont.

i have no idea why you think chicago likes to print money. friedman is certainly the most influential chicago economist, and he contended that the central bank should limit printing to the growth rate. you really need to learn more than econ 101 before you start with this bs
