I live in a city that is 93% white. 4% Hispanic, 2% black and 1% Asian and other.
When I buy an Ameriburger I buy it from a white person.
The guy who cuts my grass and tends my yard is white.
All the new houses that spring up have majority white men working on the construction crews.
The guys who change my oil are white.
My garbage men are white.
I drive by several small motels and hotels along the interstate and have seen the cleaning ladies pushing their carts from room to room. They are all white.
Whites will work and do any job that pays.
The only meme job that speaks to in favor of the Mexican thing is agriculture due to the need to have cheap labor willing to work in rural areas for very low pay.

Neither Trump nor Bernie just appeared in a vacuum. They are inherently reactionary candidates that have arrived on the scene due to this shit tearing apart the country. The only difference is that Bernie and his supporters are unable to properly identify the cause of the problem or come up with anything close to a functioning cure, but they are still motivated by the same root problems even if they get bogged down in identity politics and the insanity of socialism.
Meanwhile if Trump doesn't win this election, things will only continue marching down the drain until an even more extreme leader shows up.

I can shovel dirt as well as any Mexican, the difference is that I can communicate with customers and actually do a good job. I've seen numerous jobs done by Mexicans where steps, retaining walls, etc. aren't level because they're lazy shits and don't do the jobs right to save a buck.
