After that 68er revolution was over they soon realized that 1. The free market has no need for these morons and 2. To spread your poison it is best to get a government job. a few months ago
I first bought this german cap knowing that the hat doesn't look that similar to any nazi caps since it was from the first world war. But the first day i wore it in public I had at least 4 black men sieg heil me (2 of which with the wrong hand) and one friend of mine saying "nice nazi cap"
when I told him that it was a ww1 german cap and not a nazi cap at all he said

Well i guess its also based on the fact that the common people ( no mater if americans or europeans ) dont real know anything baout history and WW I was almost completly overshadowed in the peoples mind by the second world war.
Hollywood does the rest.
Just go around and even ask in your own social circles ( University, work, friends etc ) about the timelines of WW I and WW II aka begiining and end. Believe me only a minority can tell you years without immediatly jumping on google.

Is there a better way to display flags indoors instead of hanging them on a wall?
I've been purchasing national as well as local flags from the countries I visit but don't want them tackily hanging bare on a wall or stuffed away in a drawer. I've seen display cases for folded flags but those are usually used for funeral flags in the US.
Would it be strange or some sort of faux pas to display ordinary folded, non-funeral, flags within display cases?
