I think what you'll find is that the people behind the "good goy" posts almost unanimously support laissez faire economics and directly benefit from a lack of regulation or competition in the market.
They will tell you they support competition, but they will defend monopolies as a logical outgrowth of the free market. They will tell you the market self-corrects. What they mean is the market lines their pockets.
Always follow the money and see who controls what and who stands to gain from what.
