Not that bad.. The average salary is about 250-300$.. How they say, the economy is improving, but no one sees the difference, except that they take more loans from others and sells our companies to foreigns for a low price. We are not that happy, because we can't afford anything. We can only pay water, electricity, food.. with these tiny salaries. For any other areas prepare for gravel or rocky beaches (don't jump on your head into the water).

There's lots of old forts in the surrounding areas.
There's tours to the nearby mountains and national parks if you get sick of the sea-side.
