What do you think of this???
good for mississippi
bad for business though
but it's not like mississippi is an economic powerhouse anyway
>>70227086
I personally think it's hilarious. But it's the way it should be. You should be free to be racists and bigoted as you want just as people around you should be free to respond to your racism and bigotry.
>>70226976
if a private citizen wants to deny service to anybody for any reason thats A-OK
>>70227145
It's not bad for business at all.
Smart business owners will not refuse to take money just because a person looks like they might enjoy the flavor of dick. All this does is protect a business owner from getting taken to the cleaners when they ask some guy wearing a fishnet shirt and sucking on a dick shaped lollipop to leave.
Fags have too much litigious power.

it's bad for business in that major corporations (nfl nba and hollywood for example) will use their influence to screw local economies over
they did it north carolina and another state i think, forcing the governors to veto the legislation
but like i said, big corps like those above probably don't do much business in mississippi anyway so their opinion won't matter as much
>>70228545
This
>>70229383
That doesn't make the law bad, it makes the corporations bad for trying to impose their will on the American people.
>>70229664
i agree the law is fine
i agree these fag loving corps are out of line
i'd boycott pro sports and hollywood movies but i don't watch that shit anyway
>mfw family lives in Mississippi and Florida
I'm amazed that NPR is less biased than the Washington Post.
>>70229664
What part of separation of church and state and equal protection do these fucking theocrats not understand?
>>70229383
NC passed the law. The governor didn't veto it.
>>70230159
Both of those things only apply to the government, not private businesses.
>>70230170
oh wow that's great
is there another state i'm thinking of where the govenor vetoed it under economic pressure?
>>70230435
Georgia I know. I think Tennessee.
>>70226976
Best case scenario, this could lead to the civil rights act being overturned. The first amendment grants freedom of association, which the CVA directly contradicts by forcing people to associate against their will
Itll never happen since there are so many activist kikes on the bench and scalia is gone though.
>>70226976
IT's just so that some annoying fags can't lure a christian bakery into baking a cake they don't want to.
>>70226976
I'm pro-LGBT, but I think discrimination laws are useless. You can't thought-police people. They will find some other way to refuse gays, and it'll only lead to more lawsuits.
Either way, businesses who refuse to service gays are throwing away their money. It's plain unsound business. I mean, I'm sure the company that made the TEC-9 isn't very fond of niggers, given that they made the TEC-9. Did that stop them from marketing to niggers? Fuck no!
>>70226976
I think freedom of association is paramount in any society that considers itself free.
The state should not be able to force two parties into a business arrangement if either or both of them do not consent to said arrangement.
The reason of why one or both parties do not wish to enter into an arrangement is irrelevant.
Only the state should be obligated to be nondiscriminatory in all functions it assumes.
Private property is private property, a private business is a private business.
If somebody doesn't want to bake you a cake, go fucking find someone else who will.
Being a backwards, prejudiced simpleton is a natural right of any human being.
>>70226976
Private business should withhold the right to deny service to anyone based on anything.
Let the free market dictate whos right and wrong. If not selling to gay people hurts business significantly the'll sell to gay people. Or competition will come up that announces they wont discriminate to anyone and people will patronize that business.
Seriously why do we have laws barring businesses from discrimination on who they sell to? If it matters to people that much they simply wont patronize those businesses.

When has Trump been racist?

I have no problem with freedom of association. Though as someone who used to work in restaurants, it aint fags id be trying to keep out.

>allowing
Bullshit disinfo spin. We have the right to do that without the government getting involved. He's reaffirming or preserving it, not allowing it. The media's bias is infuriating sometimes. Americans used to be aware that anything that isn't explicitly illegal, was therefore legal. I guess someone is trying to change that.

Who said anything about trump?
Nice to see that most of you aren't idiot liberals aka non thinkers who scream social justice.
