There isn't really any music subcultures in the modern day that's based on a political view wither its right or left, within modern music there will always be music that came from the left and the right but it isn't popular or if it is popular like green day or rise against it's hated by hardcore fans of that genre and those bands would then be label pop also the masses don't like to think, so any music with a political view point within it isn't liked as much.
