I've been visiting London since I was eleven at least annually, from 2001 onward it started getting progressively worse, it was unrecognizable by 2013 as the city I'd visited when I was younger. The structures were the same but the people were different. Since then I try to spend as little time there when I visit, I just go straight to wherever I'm headed.

I used to live at the edge of the sharia zone outside whitechapel. Check-out the area around the East London mosque on google streetview or whatever.
White British was down to less than 10% in my borough and the one next-door.
On the plus side, the religion of peace rarely bus-bombs its own area, so in some sense I was safe.
Oh and in East London there is a higher incidence of the incurable form of TB, than there is in deprived areas of Eastern Europe, so you might want to think twice about using public transport.

I think it depends on how comfortable you are there.
Being British, I can go to London and be surrounded by curryniggers but still feel pretty comfortable. But I understand that if you are a white foreigner visiting London, and you see some areas which are very non-white, that you may not feel so comfortable. I've had this experience in European cities.
I personally quite like London. It's not amazing. There are some very ugly parts. But the old parts are beautiful.

The trains and subways are so overcrowded when everybody has to get to work at the same time that you get smeared with the sweat of all kinds of people, you can't breathe, reading of course not, and it takes an hour to get from A to B, on average.
In general, everything you want to do at least one hundred other people also want to do and you have to think about that.
