I cannot in good conscience write about how letting refugees in is a good thing, because I do not believe it is. Instead, I will write about a better alternative.
We have it within our power to establish a safe-zone in the middle-east, where we can protect refugees. The advantages of this approach are enormous: We can direct our resources at actual war-refugees, which according to European intelligence agencies are only about 15% of the influx of refugees in Europe. Taking refugees into our countries brings a lot of economic refugees disguising as war-refugees, and this hurts the actual refugees who now will have to compete for our resources.
The cultural shock for the refugees themselves is completely eliminated, it will be easier to re-integrate them back into their old lives once the need for protection is over.
The refugees don't have to take the perilous journey to Europe. More refugees will be able to enjoy our protection. Women, children, the elderly. The people we so blindly abandon to their fate by having safety so far away in our own countries, we will be able to protect.
It will be a huge blow to organized crime, who are currently benefiting from the influx of refugees. Not having the clashing of eastern and western cultures on our own soil is merely an added benefit.
