Fuck I took it a few years ago and got a 95 too just so I could skip class. I never joined, but the army came to my door a few times, the marines at school always pestered me to join, and the navy still calls me every 6 months trying to put me in nuclear subs.

The way our nation conducts warfare scares me, legitimately. How we are expected to go into hostile countries and just stand there and wait to be fired upon is immoral and stupid. I got in trouble in 68W (Combat Medic) training because I told my instructors that I would not treat enemy soldiers. In addition to that, I would not follow the Geneva Conventions. I just won't. It is morally reprehensible and I cannot justify following these manmade codes of ethics over the non-negotiable moral code of the Creator of the Universe. All I care about is defending those I love and my way of life. All means are secondary to this end.
I literally had a "discussion" with my commander about ethics and the Geneva Conventions. I was feeling pretty down about it, and then I came back and saw that on that very same day, Trump had attacked the Geneva Conventions.
God bless Trump. If he doesn't win, I may try to apply for conscientious objector status. Morally, I can't participate in a war that we are not going to do what we have to do to win. The Geneva Conventions are Satanic.

The nuke program is sold very hard by recruiters and hooks a lot of people who don't really know what they're getting into. So you get sent to almost two years of training to run a nuclear reactor on a carrier or submarine and some people end up fucking hating life, there's stories about power school having one of the highest rates of suicide in the Navy.
As long as you do your research and actually know and accept what you're signing up for it won't be a problem.

You typically score higher on the real asvab than you do on the practice. The asvabs 4 main parts are the two math sections, and the reading and vocabulary section, which is what the practice asvab is based on. All the other sections are pretty much fluff to be honest. For example I got a 97 on the practice and 99 on the real one.
However if you are trying to get into a certain MOS then you want to do well on sections relevant to the MOS obviously.
