If Hillary/Bernie wins in the presidency, it will most likely mean we end up with a liberal majority supreme court. Thus, if a big gun case comes up, and the supreme court rules in some way that second amendment no longer valid, what will happen?

I think about this from time to time, and would be ready to revolt, would you /pol/? Or would we just end up getting cucked like most of Europe? Would the U.S. armed forces and Police join the revolt side or back the courts ruling?

No one would ever think of revolting against our government. They love us too much and are just looking out for our own good.
And the government certainly isn't tracking all the IPs in any threads here about open warfare in the united states. They only care about terrorists.

The military would risk certain imprisonment, however, they are still citizens of the US like us. If shit hit the fan, like an actual American revolution I have no doubt we hold the militarys power. LEO's are men and women just like us, we could easily take small towns over with our local sheriffs departments no problem. This would be a good start.

There is actual numerous militias spread all across the US and Alaska that are armed to the teeth with military weapons ready to prevent a tyranny. The resources are there it's really just a matter of organization and the proper communication of what is about to happen. Obama has gathered the flint and tender, if we have either of these two Democrats there will be a real uprising soon, I guarantee this. As for the 2nd Amendment, they may try to "enact" stricter gun control laws but it's really not going to do anything. When it comes to disarming 150 million plus Americans, there is just no way, this would be nothing even remotely like Australia even if they tried to surgically do it.

Winning at a state level. That doesn't matter if gun change comes from the federal level. Plus just because gun control is down currently doesn't mean it always will be. If the court set a precedent that carrying guns was not the right of all citizens (as 4 of the 8 justices and Obama's nominee all believe) we could start to see restrictions being imposed 20-30 years down the road and be helpless to prevent it.

The Constitution is very clear. It's sad we're even having to entertain this as a possibility.
>>
>>70183163

That's nonsense.

CDC studies have shown that guns are used for self defense orders of magnitude more often than in crime.

Gun crime itself is almost universally confined to small geographic areas with very specific demographics.

lots of paid shilling from Canada lately, please send the message up to Soros that he has fucking nothing on an armed populace. when the shit hits the fan, at least 50% of the police force and military abandons and swings to the favor of the people immediately.

the second America repeals the second amendment (see what I did there?), is the second the country collapses. there won't be a Western world for the Jews to exploit anymore.

>>
>>70182471
It would mean that the government no longer trusts the people. It would be the final straw. Texas would likely outright leave the union, along with a few others. The NRA would throw a shit fit before running off into the mountains of Montana. It would mean that the government is ready to begin stripping more and more rights, ushering tighter controls over its people. Such an idea is completely unconstitutional.
>>
>>70182471
As someone in law enforcement in a major metropolitan city, that will never happen with the military or police force's approval or support. Anyone who understands weapons beyond emotional stimuli knows that they are a necessity. If they even try, it'd cause a war. And any reasonable person I know in the police or military will back up the rights of the people that we swore to serve.
>>
Not violently at first, but I`d join any protests about it, and probably bury my nugget in a crate in my backyard

Pretty much yeah. They don't seem to realize that while they shit on the army/veterans and the police they're also totally depending upon them to enforce their socialist big baby safespace rules.

The lowest estimate of defensive gun use is roughly 55,000 instances per year. Higher estimates range well into the millions.

Which lives matter more?

The people who died or the people who potentially saved their own lives?

>>
>>70184992
Yeah, I suppose 55,000 who had a "defensive gun use" by pulling out their guns after hearing a board creak are more important than the 33,000 who died from them. Not potentially died, but died.

That's also not accounting for nonfatal gun injuries which are over double the number of deaths.

We should have revolted a long time ago.

The government has been disarming the U.S. population very slowly.

It will come to:
"You can bear arms. All we're making illegal is semi-automatic guns with calibers larger than .22."

Then it will finally come to:
"There is no need to own guns."

Gun owners put up with a lot more 20 years ago because the mood of the country was a lot different and they didn't really believe just how far the anti gun crowd wanted to go. Times have changed.

You have to understand that liberals do not like the constitution and if they had the clout to call a convention they would.

They think the ideas and sentiments expressed in it are primitive. For a comparison they are the atheists to the conservative's reformed Christianity.
>>
>>70183554
This.
The guns would get stashed and hidden away for the chaotic situation that develops when big cities start having serious infrastructure problems which were deliberately caused.

People will just start handing out instruction manuals and tossing around rather dangerous and destructive ideas.

The underground information stream will go nuts and you'll see all kinds of panic about the things your kids have easy access to all throughout the media.

Dude, most people, liberals included, don't even know what's in the constitution. I'd like to see an exit poll at the general election this year that doesn't just ask who people voted for, but questions like

>How many branches are there in the federal government?
>What five rights does the 1st Amendment afford you?
>Can the president make laws?
>How many years is a US Senator's term?
>Who has the authority to declare war?
>>

It couldn't happen in the US. Too many guns, too many people who feel too strongly about it.

My position is radical.

I propose nationalizing all gun manufacturing and making the obtaining of all guns, pistols, long arms, etc. completely free. All weapons are allowed anywhere at all times.

The 2nd Amendment clearly states that a citizenry with access to guns is vital to the security of the nation; thus it would be everyone's patriotic duty to possess firearms no matter what.

The nation would be flooded with guns everywhere. Well-stocked armories in every city and town, mandated by law, where guns can be easily and freely obtained for as long as you want. "Break in case of tyranny" glass cases with guns on every hallway just like we currently do with fire extinguishers. No limits on gun ownership and all guns cost nothing to obtain.

We will completely dismantle the for-profit domestic weapons industry in this great country in the name of security.
