I thought it was nice or whatever, he kept on calling me cuban and I told him I am a American (I was born here and like my immigrant parents we are Americanized) his attitude soured and said "nah that's white people shit" you are cuban, I told him being American is a state of mind and we are all Americans, we are all in this together, he just said I am not American and dropped it.
