>100% accuracy record
What/who/how many did they predict? Obama x2?
>>
>>70144673

>When Western Illinois University puts together their annual mock presidential election, some pundits tend to perk up and pay attention. After all, they accurately predicted Barack Obama’s presidential win in 2007, and his narrower reelection win in 2011, after the same system had been used to astonishingly predict every presidential election since 1975 with 100% accuracy.

>The results of WIU’s 2015 mock election are in, and if you tend to take the mainstream media seriously, the results of that election will more than likely surprise you: Bernie Sanders won the presidency, then the general election… and he did both in a massive landslide.

But

>The Republican student body put together a Jeb Bush/ Marco Rubio ticket for 2016, and if you thought WIU’s primary results were interesting, get a load of this: The Sanders/ O’Malley ticket creams the Bush/ Rubio ticket heavy-handedly, with a blow-out landslide win in which Sanders/ O’Malley takes home 404 electoral votes, to the measily 114 picked up by Bush/ Rubio.

>Bush/Rubio

Anon will a 100% accuracy record here. Hillary will have a tumor forming in her head that will cause he to go into a coma and drop out of the race. Bernie will become over excited over the fact the got the nom and will have a heart attack and die.

GOP will scum the nom away from Trump which will cause a collapse of the party.

Because of all the joke write ins our new president will be Palpatine who is running independent.
>>
didn't they say the Republican nominee would be Jeb?
>>
>>70144980
There was no election in 1975.

1976 - Carter's win was a response to Watergate and Ford pardoning Nixon
1980 - Reagan was a bit of a surprise winning the nomination but the Republican beating Carter wasn't hard to predict
1984 - Reagan was insanely popular. Not a big deal to predict that right.
1988 - Bush was riding Reagan's coattails. Dukakis was a shitty candidate.
1992 - Bush broke his 'no new taxes promises' and Republicans were in control for over a decade. Clinton winning not a surprise
1996 - Bob Dole and Jack Kemp were sacrificial candidates due to Clinton's popularity
2000 - A coin toss basically. Some will say they were actually wrong and Gore won.
2004 - A war president losing reelection? No likely.
2008 - Even Republicans hated Bush by now
2012 - Slightly surprising results but Romney was a shit candidate. Obama should have lost but the Republicans fucked up with Richie Rich McCorporate Raider being their candidate during a stagnate economy.

Their predictions aren't really all that amazing when you look at it.

>"HAHAHA MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"

>Y has never failed to predict an election outcome and says Sanders will become the President
>"So what? That doesn't mean their prediction will be right this time. Come on, guys. Stop making these shitposts, please. It's 2016."

Reminder that this is your next president (not joking)

You know America doesn't count votes and places who they want in power. She's too perfect.

Meanwhile, in reality:

http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/12/2016-indiana-county-predicts-every-election-trump-fever-213411
>>
>>70143381
there have been like four already that predicted a trump landslide, and equally as many predicting a clinton win.
>>
>>70147632

Republicans bought too much into their own narrative that Obama was insanely unpopular, as displayed by the skewed polls nonsense. Reality was that he was still popular among his coalition and he won again with them.
>>
>>70138419
They predicted three elections

Jimmy Carter
Obama
Obama round 2

It's easy to have a clean record when you don't play the game for thirty years.
>>
>>70147632
>Richie Rich McCorporate Raider being their candidate
Surely it will work this time with Trump
