I say this from someone who's a little older now (23) who didn't (and doesn't) fuck strangers or do hard drugs beyond weed, but I got invited to hang outs and gatherings and even sometimes got invited as a +1 to random parties on occasion.
I only had six or so close friends but it was enough to keep me doing stuff. At these parties we weren't fucking or snorting hard drugs, we were kids for crying out loud. We'd sit in the backyard and drink and smoke weed if the parents were fine with it, and the end of the night I might even crash on the couch with a drunk qt and we wouldn't fuck but cuddle, touch each others hands, whisper to each other.
