I'm not surprised by this at all. Look at your family trees. Every single one of your grandparents had over 10 siblings and their parents did too. You used to be bunnies and you used to be able to afford having a big family like that living in a beautiful red wooden house in a comfy village next to a river. You only needed 1 breadwinner.
