it's global messages to nuclear assets and other high value & low visibility assets, these messages happen every day at varying frequency and length
basically it's a spooky thing to listen to for civilians, but a serious and important thing for people like me
(and yes we do get filtered versions of what's happening from the US military. we don't get the full message due to opsec concerns.)

Only skykings are said to be for neclear shit, and even then we don't know, it's all speculation based on one blogspot post and people who's uncles work at Nintendo. Most of the messages broadcasted are called EAMs, normal orders to units or ships or shit like that. There is no pattern and you can go days with very little traffic and have days with high traffic.
It can correlate to real world events, in this case it prolly has something to do with NK.
