I'm orthodox and i respect the catholics but St. Athansious meant the unversiality of christ church which was established in both patraiches. Rome is one of these and the newest as well. It seems that he meant that the christain would be decived by whatever and that the etsablished churches which go with apsotle succession are the churches. It's not an issue of Catholic or orthodox but of an issue of defence of the faith and holding onto the belfis that is orginal christanity.
