Emo kids just morphed into metalcore kids or went to college and became jason mraz fans or hipsters, from what I see.
I know a lot of the really young emo kids back then are now on Tumblr, but I think the older ones either just killed themselves or became normal(ish)

The whole "emo" movement was part of the DIY punk scene. Tons of independent artists and record labels.
They were living the American Meme. Most went on to continue producing or raise families.
ALSO a large portion of the good emo music came from, get this, CHRISTIAN labels. So, some of them went on to raise their children, and I'm sure many ended up working blue-collar jobs.

In London most of the hot emo girls I knew now work in bars, as burlesque dancers or are now prostitutes. Most of them are single or "poly" with fag boyfriends who you can pretty much cuck with impunity.
